ITE Tri-Section Workshop Cancelled
Following Governor Gavin Newsom’s announcement regarding social gatherings to protect public health and slow the spread of COVID-19, the tri-section workshop jointly hosted by ITE SoCal, RSBITE and ITE San Diego Section tomorrow (Friday, March 13, 2020) is cancelled. Please note that the State’s public health experts have determined that gatherings should be postponed or canceled across the state until at least the end of March. Non-essential gatherings must be limited to no more than 250 people, while smaller events can proceed only if the organizers can implement social distancing of 6 feet per person. Gatherings of individuals who are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 should be limited to no more than 10 people, while also following social distancing guidelines. We sincerely apologize for the delay in announcing this, but we are also hopeful to host the event at a future date. Our Section Board and Chairs have put in tremendous amount of effort in coordinating this event. However, at this time, the health and safety of our members takes precedence. If we are unable to schedule this event at a future date within a reasonable time frame, we will refund the registration costs for all our attendees. We appreciate your patience as we work to iron out the details of this change.
