Los Angeles Region’s Coalition for Transportation Technology Releases a Request for Interest (RFI) for Advanced Transportation Technologies
The Coalition for Transportation Technology (Coalition) is a group of public agencies in the Los Angeles Region, consisting of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (LACDPW), Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), and Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). The Coalition is releasing a Request for Interest (RFI) to survey the marketplace to gauge the level of interest of the private industry for advanced transportation technologies and opportunities, which include but are not limited to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), connected vehicles (CV), automated/autonomous vehicles (AV), vehicle‐to‐everything (V2X), and data analytics. These advanced transportation technologies can serve individual passenger vehicles, transit, freight/goods movement, or active transportation.
