President's Message 2017-18

Dear ITE Southern California Members,

I am proud and honored to serve as your Section President this year. We have a great Board leading us this year with Joshua McNeill as our Vice President, Sowmya Chandrasekhar as Secretary, Ed Alegre as Treasurer, Jay Dinkins as First Past President and Giancarlo Ganddini as Second Past President. We also have a dedicated group of Chairs this year which help to keep the Section running smoothly. I want to thank each one of you for dedicating your time and expertise to keep our Section professional and providing relevant events to our membership throughout the year.

Many of our Section members attended the Western District Meeting in San Diego and/or the International Annual Meeting in Toronto. At the Western District Conference our Section accepted the Activities Award for Large Sections, Membership Award for the highest membership gained and won the Professional Traffic Bowl at the Western District Conference. Cal Poly Pomona won the Student Traffic Bowl at both the Western District Conference and the International Conference. Great job Cal Poly Pomona!!!
