Los Angeles Region’s Coalition for Transportation Technology Releases a Request for Interest (RFI) for Advanced Transportation Technologies

The Coalition for Transportation Technology (Coalition) is a group of public agencies in the Los Angeles Region, consisting of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (LACDPW), Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), and Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). The Coalition is releasing a Request for Interest (RFI) to survey the marketplace to gauge the level of interest of the private industry for advanced transportation technologies and opportunities, which include but are not limited to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), connected vehicles (CV), automated/autonomous vehicles (AV), vehicle‐to‐everything (V2X), and data analytics. These advanced transportation technologies can serve individual passenger vehicles, transit, freight/goods movement, or active transportation.

This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation. If you are interested in submitting a response, the RFI is located here.

In addition, the Coalition has established a Strategic Action Plan to help guide their near/mid/long‐term goals and objectives, and can be accessed here. If you have any questions, please email CoalitionForTransportationTech@gmail.com.
